Our Son Doong Photography Expedition will take you into the heart of Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh Province, Vietnam, on one of the most thrilling adventure tours in the world. This tour will be focused on capturing unique images within Son Doong with lighting support and porters carrying up to 10 kg your personal equipment. 

Our Son Doong Expedition is available from February to August every year. It is advised to book in advance as this is a popular tour and we are strictly limited to 10 guests per departure. If you don't see departure date on calendar box in this page which mean the tour is fully booked or not available. 

With your team of more than 25 porters, safety experts and guides, and over five days you’ll explore the entire length of Son Doong Cave, Hang En Cave as well as visiting the Ban Doong ethnic minority village deep in the jungle.

• While our system will accept bookings of up to 10 pax at a time, please note that your booking is not saved until your form is complete. We recommend booking in small groups or individuals so that you don’t lose your space to someone filling out the form quicker.
• In the below application, we will ask you to complete a number of questions related to your fitness and medical history. These questions are to help us ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trek and is not intended to exclude you. Please be detailed in your answers otherwise your reservation will be rejected – “regular walking”, “going to gym”, are not considered detailed. Keep in mind that the Son Doong Cave Expedition is a difficult tour held in remote areas. While on tour, you will be days away from real international medical care. It is vital that you are upfront with us in both your fitness and medical history. If you have any medical conditions, our team will follow up with you to discuss further if we think that your condition could pose a threat to your safety while on tour. If you do not provide full disclosure and we find out later that you have not filled out the form with integrity, we reserve the right to cancel your tour without refund. So please be honest! After tour accommodation note: After leaving the jungle and cave, you will be staying at Chay Lap Farmstay Resort one night before going home. Based on our experiences of previous tours, many tourists wanted to spend extra nights at Chay Lap Farmstay after the tour to explore other caves, visit local villages, or simply relax at Chay Lap Farmstay resort while resting up poolside and enjoying the fresh air.
